SESSION TIMES
Session 1: 12:40-1:30 (Age 4-7) | £41.50
Session 2: 1:50-2:40 (Age 4-7) | £41.50
Session 3: 2:50-3:40 (Age 8-12) | £25
Location:The Mill House, Hertford SG13 7JY
Length of workshop: 50 minutes
ABOUT THE SESSIONS
Each block takes inspiration from a variety of artists and mediums. They are as varied as possible enabling the children to explore different ways of working from painting, to sculpture, to collage and more.
Here’s what we’re up to over the next few weeks…
13/01 - Shadow portraits - we’re kicking off the year creating shadow self portraits which we’ll decorate with all the things we love, then we can have fun looking back at them at the end of the year to see if and how we’ve changed!
20/01 - Magical Miro puppets - we’ll have fun creating colourful split pin puppets inspired by the wonderful Joan Miro!
27/01 - Mondrian tees - get ready to create your very own t-shirt design using tape and fabric paint, inspired by grid-tastic Mondrian. Bring along 1 or 2 plain t-shirts, light in colour. They can be old or new!
03/02 - Making faces - we’ll have fun exploring emotions this week, kicking off the session on the floor turning big colourful blobs into funny faces and then to the table to create our very own emotions wheel to take home.
10/02 - Valentine bugs - We’ll finish off the block making super cute tassel and pom pom love bugs out of colourful wool.

DURING THE SESSIONS
You’re welcome to join in with the children or sit back and relax. For any children 4 and under we ask that a grown up sits with them during the session. Younger siblings are welcome to play while the session takes place.
