We’ll be running two sessions again, you can select which you’d prefer to attend in the drop down below. If you know anyone who’d love to join us, please feel free to pass the link on.

Session 2: 1:50-2:40

Suggested age: 4-7
Length of workshop: 50 minutes
Cost: £41.50
The sessions are as varied as possible enabling the children to explore different ways of working and to discover different mediums, from painting, to sculpture, to collage and more! Check out what we’ll be covering after half term below…
DURING THE SESSIONS
You’re welcome to join in with the children or relax at the other end of the space while the session takes place. For any children 4 and under we ask that a grown up sits with them during the session. Younger siblings are welcome to play while the session takes place.

SESSIONS
15/04 - Wonderful weaving - we’re kicking off the block learning the art of weaving! We’ll create colourful wall hangings, inspired by artist Anni Albers.
22/04 - Pixel crazy - we’ll jump into the world of 2D pixel art, learning all about what pixel art is and how it came about. Then we’ll practice drawing with a grid in our very own gridded sketch books, before making pixelated characters!
29/04 - Strike a Pose - you’ll need lots of energy for this one! We’re going to roll out big sheets of paper and explore art through movement, creating our very own life size artworks using a variety of poses inspired by performance artist Bruce Nauman.
13/05 - Inside out ME - This one is all about you! We’ll have fun cutting and sticking to create self portrait collages that describes your identity as YOU see it. This is a great way to dig a little deeper into all that makes you, YOU! The week before, I’ll take a photo of you individually to print out ready for this session - any problems with this do let me know.
20/05 - Busy Bees - We’ll be going back to nature celebrating World Bee day, creating our very own bee hotels and exploring art through nature!
