LAUNCHING WONDER DEN

Back in 2018 I setup The Mill House in Hertford, a community space where local businesses run classes, workshops and events. It’s also the space where I ran my first creative workshop, back when we first opened. Over the years, I’ve developed the workshops and built up a following within the community.

When Covid hit and our venue closed I switched the workshops for Art Boxes and delivered them to children in the local area and posted them around the country.

While in lockdown I had time to step out of The Mill House bubble and to really think about where I wanted to take the business. My dream was to one day take the workshops out of The Mill House, into the community, schools and festivals, providing more opportunities to explore creativity and curiosity together. I also really wanted to include other local creatives, working with them to provide an exciting programme of workshops and events.

So when we came out of lockdown in spring 2021, I took the leap and launched Wonder Den. I have SO many exciting plans which I can’t wait to share with you. I’m also in the process of switching Wonder Den from a limited company to a social enterprise.
